Welcome to St. John's Child Care Center in south Minneapolis.  We are a licensed and accredited program that serves the educational and child-care needs in our community.  We provide a stable, comfortable and safe environment in which children are given opportunities to promote social interaction, emotional growth and cognitive skills.

St. John's Child Care Center is celebrating our 50th year of service in South Minneapolis!

ST. JOHN'S CHILD CARE CENTER TURNED 50 on November 1, 2014! We plan to celebrate LOUD and PROUD on Thursday, April 9! The festivities will begin with a singing concert in the sanctuary at 6:30 PM.
Our current St. John's students will be singing all the beautiful songs they have learned this past year. Anyone who has ever attended our program could easily join us in singing. Immediately following the concert we will host a reception in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome! Please help us spread the word! We would LOVE for all former students, families, and staff to join us for this very special event.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED for the Child Care 50th Celebration. Help is needed with designing and addressing postcard invitations, planning the reception, and helping the day of the event. No experience is necessary. Ideas are welcome and appreciated! If you can help, please call Tina at 612-827-1237.

ST. JOHN’S OFFERS CHILD CARE DURING 10am WORSHIP SERVICES. Children may be dropped off before the service in the toddler room by the Nicollet Avenue entrance. If families want to worship together at the beginning of the service, a aide waits at the back of the church (narthex) to pick up children immediately after the children’s message.
